Sagittarius Forecast for October 2008

Through much of October, you'd do best to keep a low profile and work quietly behind the scenes. October will be somewhat messy, as Mercury will be retrograde until October 15 (but will not completely regulate itself until October 20). It will not be a time for launching any new endeavors. Astrology teaches that there are times to act and times to hold back. Your time to move assertively forward will come in mid-November when Mars will be ready to move into Sagittarius, so you won't have to wait too long.

The new moon on October 28 will help you tie up loose ends on an ongoing project. From October 28 onward, work to perfect your strategy for the coming year, for the more you plan the better things will go later. Ruthlessly go over your plans to see if your estimates and assumptions seem correct. If you like, you can talk very quietly to those you trust about your ideas to get important advice and input. Close friends will be helpful and available, especially during the first half of the month.

As said, Mercury will not return to solid shape until October 20. The days prior to this, October 1-19, would not be the time to buy expensive things, and certainly not anything with moving parts, such as an electronic gadget, flat screen TV, car, watch, or computer. The chance that you will get a malfunctioning product is high, so you need to wait. You will be much happier with your purchase later. If shipping, faxing, or sending email, check to be sure all was received, for it might not have been. Take nothing for granted! Keep track of your personal things too, like your cell phone, for we become forgetful and lose things. Mercury tends to create all kinds of mix-ups, delays, confusion, and misunderstandings, so stay lose, go the extra mile to communicate clearly, and carry a list of things to do!

Mercury retrogrades for three-and-a-half-weeks three or four times a year. This time around Mercury will retrograde in your friendship sector, so you will likely run into many old pals. If you have any friends you haven't seen in a long time but have been thinking about lately, make a call. Chances are that person's been thinking about you, too! You may run into people on the street or in restaurants quite by happenstance, and that's always wonderful fun.

Financially, things look really bright. With Jupiter finally in direct orbit since September 8 and Saturn not due to retrograde until December 31, you will find yourself in a rare period where you can finally turn a corner and make the kind of money you deserve. This lovely trend will be further emphasized by Pluto, a financial planet too, having turned direct last month on the same day as Jupiter.

You may not see the truth of this powerfully beneficial financial trend until the new moon, December 27, but if you've worked hard and done everything right, you will - money is absolutely on the way. (Make no plans to vacation between Christmas and New Year's - you have to be around to make this all happen!)

In the meantime, a sensational time for private talks that involve monetary decisions will be October 3-6, due to Venus' fine angle to Jupiter. Don't make any concrete promises or actions yet, however, because things are liable to change.

Wait until your next good day, October 27, when Mars will speak with Jupiter, and by then, Mercury will be in fine form.

This month you may learn that one friend is in the hospital or is otherwise confined, and if so, you'll have the time this month to visit her. She'll be touched by your cheerful and caring gestures, and she won't quickly forget your kindness at such a vulnerable time in her life. (I used the feminine gender, but your friend may be a "he" as well.)

In your career, if you work in a creative field or if you work with artists in any industry, you may see a conclusion to a project during the week of October 13-17. If so, you'll be celebrating, for the results will be outstanding. With both the Sun and full moon so cordial to Neptune this week, anything having to do with the arts should go very well.

With Saturn in your career house for one more year, until October 2009, you are being watched and judged in your new role, so your work will have to be letter perfect. Saturn is in Virgo after all, the most detailed and "nitpicky" sign of the zodiac. Jupiter is supporting Saturn from your house of money, and you seem to have every reason to believe your clients and superiors are happy.

Speaking of financials, you will have an exceptional day coming up on October 27, when Mars will work with your ruler, Jupiter, to help you see a fat profit. Present an idea or have a confidential interview - you'll easily impress others and be able to negotiate a lucrative deal for yourself at the same time.

Romantically, your big moment comes at the full moon, October 14. You will be able to clearly see the heart of the person you're with at this time, and things should flow in precisely the direction you had hoped. It should be a tender, touching time of the month - a real moment to remember! If single, you could be swept off your feet by someone you are introduced to at that time. If you are attached, you may be excited about a pregnancy or news concerning a child you have now.

No matter if you are in an established relationship or single and hoping to make the acquaintance of someone new, your emotions will run high in an exciting way - and with the full moon receiving lyrical rays from Neptune, you'll feel inspired. In fact, you may later daydream about your future with this person. Enjoy this moment of the month, dear Sagittarius, and see where things lead!

You may also be very focused on one of your children at the time of the full moon, or a pregnancy. Again, the news should be bright.

If you were born on December 13 plus or minus four days, you will have an extra dip of pleasure from this full moon.

Venus will enter Sagittarius for a month (until November 12) and will make your charms much more apparent to just the right individual. Wait until after October 20 to buy some new clothes for the coming holidays. You'll need them, as your social life will be reaching an all-time high then! This trend begins in mid-to late November, so soon you'll see what I am talking about!

Best romantic dates overall: October 3, 4, 9, 14 (four stars), 17-18, 21-22, 25-27, and 31.

A home-related matter may get a good solution on October 9, when Venus and Uranus will be so friendly, bubbling up all sorts of news. Remember, however, that Mercury will be retrograde, so investigate but make no promises to anyone verbally or in written form until October 20 or later.

The month ends on a fantastic day for fun, Halloween, when the moon will be in Sagittarius, and Mars and Uranus will be beautifully angled. What a day for creativity! This day rates four stars for you. Since Uranus will be in your house of home, you should consider giving a party at your apartment or house. Home is where all the fun happens!

Summary

The new moon that fell last month on September will still be strong, so against the quiet background that October presents will be lots of ways for you to socialize and relax. This is new for you - you've been working hard, and even getting to a point where you can relax may take a little adjustment. You've got time, so give in to it. Call friends you have not seen in ages, and plan to get together. You may hear from a few pals that you had no idea how to contact and you'll be delighted when they do.

In career and in terms of your financial prospects, things could not be better. Jupiter is now in your house of earned income, and Saturn, the taskmaster planet, is in your house of fame and career success. Together they are working closely to see that you get your promotions, are lauded in your industry, and get paid the money you are due! Look to the December 27 new moon to see just how well things are going for you! In the meantime, October 27 should be outstanding.

With Mars moving through your twelfth house of behind-the-scenes activities, and a new moon appearing in this area October 28, October and November will be ideal times to stop and think about what you hope 2009 will bring. Once you get to the end of November, birthday time of the year, you won't have time to do any kind of meaningful deep thinking. Build your strategy, but don't talk too much about it - you won't want many people knowing, lest a copycat emerge on the scene.

October's quiet, contemplative theme is very encouraging for delving into psychological matters. You may want to join a group to talk over habits and patterns that everyone in the group hopes to end, or certain fears that people in the group would like to overcome. If you feel you could benefit from therapy, either as group therapy or in one-on-one sessions, get names and references, for you have an outstanding opportunity to find the right help. Spiritual and religious retreats will also go well, as would a highly restful vacation taken this month.

The full moon on October 14 will light your romantic part of your chart, so you can expect one of the best love-related moments of the year to occur then, plus or minus four days. This should be a wonderful moment, full of magic and bewitching exchanges. If you are single and not dating, you have a good chance of meeting someone new at this tender full moon. You'll be in an adventuresome mood, so gather up your courage and see what the world holds for you, dear Sagittarius.

Halloween will be your other four-star day to watch for fun and love. On October 31, a Friday, consider having a party at home. Invite your friends and tell them costumes are a must. With Mars in such perfect angle to Uranus, the outfits are likely to be highly creative and entertaining! A time to watch!

Example, Verizon customers are told to go to "Get it now," then "Tools on the Go," then "Mind, Body & Soul," and then select Astrology Zone Premier. So, Verizon customers will have to actually exit the Text Message and go back into the menu on their phone. This is something that you, as a Verizon customer, have to do to get any application so it's not a new process, and it's worth the effort!

AT&T and Sprint customers - When you text AZP to 75777 you will receive a text message back that includes a link to the application. It is a more direct process than the one outlined above.

Not all phones are equipped to take new technology, so check first with your provider and explain which phone you own. If you purchased a cell phone in the past year, chances are, your phone is ready.

iPhone - Our application to be approved by Apple very soon. It's nearly ready to announce! (Our engineers have given me a finished version for my iPhone, so if you come to my events in California, you can see it! It is working perfectly, but Apple has to take a look at it first.)
