Pisces Horoscope for July 2010

There is so much good news for you in July, dear Pisces, that I hardly know where to begin! Let's start with one of the best pieces of news - the departure of taskmaster Saturn from your opposite sign of Virgo, beginning July 21. This will be the first time in almost three years that you are looking at a completely free road ahead, with nothing but blue skies overhead for relationships of every description.

Ever since September 2007, you have had to cope with Saturn staring directly at you from the opposite place in the sky. Saturn is the great teacher, and when it came to forming close personal relationships, in both business and personal areas, you were being taught whatever you needed to know. For some, it's not to be too trusting. For others, it was to give more (hard to imagine for a Pisces, but possible), or to understand how cultural or family background can impinge on a relationship. There are all sorts of life lessons learned when Saturn comes for a visit, and you probably feel that by now you could write a whole book on what you've learned.

When you have Saturn opposed to the natal Sun (as Pisces have had for a very long time), the universe suddenly tosses a heavy medicine ball to see if you have the sharp reflexes (so to speak) to catch it. After you do, Saturn stands by to see whether you can carry it for quite a long time.

The medicine ball represents a burden, health problem, or special responsibility that is thrust on you during a Saturn period. These phases are rare, as it take Saturn 29 years to circle the Sun and to return to any given house of the chart. That's why Saturn periods can be so tough - the problems presented are new ones and not the kind you would have much experience with in the past. Also, Saturn will always want to be sure his lessons remain vivid in your mind because he will not be back for almost three decades - that's why his lessons tend to verge on the extreme side.

You have passed the cosmic test, dear Pisces, but the going was strenuous and possibly depressing. The challenges you dealt with were, for the most part, not of your making, so you may have been shocked to have to deal with whatever came up. You may have suffered with health difficulties, with relationship disillusionment, or both. The relationship problem could have stemmed from one committed business partner, agent, publicist, manager, or investor, or from a romantic partner who had meant a lot to you.

While undoubtedly the Virgos had it hard too, you had it harder, dear Pisces. When Saturn conjoins the Sun (as was the case for Virgo), the challenges one deals with are chosen, not thrust on you, as you have had. The Virgos had a chance to decide on the goals they wanted to work on, whether on a personal or professional level. The work was hard for them, for they were challenged to go after those goals with a passion. You had almost no choice in what you were confronted with, but you dealt with events as they came up with grace and the lovely pilgrim spirit that is so very part of the Pisces nature. Other signs may be born physically stronger, but you have the kind of unshakable faith in yourself and the future that simply cannot be matched. This is your strength, and it is formidable.

February-born Pisces were having the hardest time in almost all areas of life, from September 2007 to early 2008. Pisces born in early-to-mid-March had a hard 2009. Pisces born late in their sign, say after March 15, felt the greatest strain in late 2009 and from April until now. Whew - you are done! Saturn won't come back until October 2036, and when he returns it will be an easier phase, for you will have already leaned a great deal about how to protect yourself in this past chapter.

Let's touch briefly on finances, which seem to have been a big concern for you lately. On one hand you will have Jupiter, the planet of abundance, in your second house of earned income until September 8 (a new trend). Jupiter will make sure your skills and talents are highly prized in the marketplace and that you can command generous fees.

The problem is that concurrently, Saturn will be in your eighth house of credit and taxes. This is the area of your chart with a blinking light that you will need to watch in the future. Right now, you will have Jupiter to help you bring in considerable sums from now until September 8, 2010, and then again during the first five months of 2011. After that, however, Jupiter will move on to a different part of your chart.

I worry that you will be saddled with debt after that with not as much money coming in as you have now. The solution is easy - work like mad to lower debt now, while you are doing so well. If you are not doing well right this second, trust that you will be earning quite a bit very soon. When asked to name a fee, keep it on the high side, for you have fate on your side. Do everything in your power to lower or eradicate debt so that you can enter the second half of 2011 in good shape. This is why we study astrology, so that we can protect ourselves when necessary and take full advantage of the sweetest fruits that are hanging on the tree within reach - fruit that we might miss entirely if we don't take the time to look! Right now it looks like you are in for a bumper crop, dear Pisces.

This month, be careful for a shortfall of cash that may put you in a bind over July 30-31. Mars will have a roaring fight with Uranus, and you could have a surprise financial setback. Do all you can to keep your antenna up. With Mars conjunct Saturn on July 31, you may feel stymied temporarily. See if you can head things off before they get tense.

The other big news this month is that another eclipse is due, this one in compatible Cancer (19 degrees) on July 11, and this one will fall in your fifth house of true love. All eclipses come in pairs. The last one lit your house of friendship, June 26, and you may have been concerned about the welfare of a friend, or conversely upset with a friend's behavior or betrayal. Last month's eclipse could have been emotional, but since it appeared in Capricorn, you were in a good position, so you would benefit from whatever occurred, perhaps by drawing closer to a friend, or seeing a friend go out of his or her way for you.

Remarkably, this month's eclipse, which will be a new moon solar eclipse, will be filled with good news, for it will receive shimmering vibrations from Jupiter (good fortune and happiness), Uranus (surprises), and Mars (action). We have not had any full moons this beneficial all year, and for this to be an eclipse, worth three full moons packed into one, this is GREAT!

Those born on or within five days of March 9 will benefit most from the July 11 eclipse. If you were born within five days of February 24, you will have benefitted more from last month's eclipse.

If you are not dating, the July 11 eclipse could bring you someone very new and special, straight out of the blue. Eclipses can often be quite life changing. They have the power to change our plans, timetables, and attitudes by adding a twist that we'd never expect. They are also very adept at illuminating truth in a way that can take your breath away.

If you are dating, you could see your relationship get much closer, and sooner than you ever thought possible due to some outside event unrelated to anything you did, or that you had any control over. Mars is now in your seventh house of "let's make this relationship official" so you may be talking about engagement or preparing for a wedding.

If you want a baby, the house where this eclipse will fall rules children, so a baby is possible. A new moon in Cancer is considered the most fertile possible and strongly favors pregnancy. If you ARE pregnant, the baby may come within five days of this date. If you have adoption papers filed, you may get that surprise phone call that spins everything into motion! Get those tiny baby clothes ready!

Everyone is in a different situation, of course. I realize you aren't just born into this month brand new - you come to July with ongoing projects and relationships, and we have to acknowledge those, too.

If you should break up, it will be because you carefully thought out the reasons. This eclipse will not be dramatic or filled with emotion. After all, the July 11 eclipse is not a full moon eclipse but a new moon. This one is rational and objective, while at the same time, quite loving. All eclipses want you to use your time well, so an eclipse will want to see a relationship move forward, not stagnate. If you feel stuck, you won't likely wait any longer. Freeing yourself for something better could be a big theme now, for Jupiter will make one last pass through Pisces from September 8, 2010 to January 22, 2011 before settling into Aries.

Uranus is leaving Pisces, too. Right now Uranus is making a brief visit to Aries. After this planet of unpredictable events re-enters your sign on August 14, 2010, it will stay until March 11, 2011, and then leave forever. Uranus won't be back to Pisces until 2087.

It would be a shame not to use these incredibly strong and powerfully beneficial vibrations now to improve your personal life while you can, to find true love! It's rare to see Uranus orbit close to Jupiter, and this is a gem of a configuration, signifying both hope and positive surprise. Together these two planets will rinse your chart with radiant luck. For these two BFFs to be together as they make their final bow in your sign of Pisces is quite extraordinary. It will be the equivalent of a brilliant display of fireworks, a fitting finale to a long trend that started when Uranus first came to Pisces in 2003.

Keep in mind that having Jupiter in your own sign is considered the number one configuration to promote finding true love. This transit only happens every 12 years, so from September through most of January, plan to be out and about A LOT. Of course, it's never just about meeting people. Your heart and mind need to be in the right place, too, for you will only get as good as you give. If you truly want to build a life with someone and are coming from an authentic place, you will find the love you want so dearly.

While it is true that you will always have happy aspects to look forward to in the future, this particular period may remain as extra special, when so many good things bubbled up, and remained with you forever.

This month, the eclipse on July 11 will not only act as a fairy godmother to bring you more love and affection, but will also help you open your imagination in ways that will astound you. It appears you may now get a venue to express your artistic and creative talents, so by all means, entertain all offers to see which ones are the ones you'd like to devote your attention to. The ideas you come up with now seem to have powerful commercial value, so press forward with vigor while you have so much cosmic support.

Your best romantic dates this month include July 1-2, 10-11 (wild card dates), 15, 23, 24, and 28-29.

If you are not yet in love, and marriage seems not to be the way this aspect could work out, then you may be thinking of adding a business partner, and in fact, you may be getting papers ready to sign. With Saturn now ending its stay, and the eclipse acting on your behalf, you have three elements in your chart that are working together to help you. Rarely have you seen such strong and happy support. Just a year ago, partners were not good for you, as they worked at cross-purposes to your aims. Now, apparently, you have found someone who has earned your trust and who is apparently very, very good for you.

By month's end, the full moon, July 25, will fall in your house of seclusion, so it seems likely you'll crave rest. If you do choose to travel, make it a very simple and relaxing weekend getaway with no strenuous sports or activities. Only take a two-day weekend holiday, because you will want to be at work both Friday and Monday. Here is why.

Before you go, on Friday, July 23, you will have a spectacular day for increasing your salary or other earned income. This day deserves a big gold star. With the Sun, in your work project sector, set to receive a lightning bolt from Uranus, you have the makings of a surprise assignment that could earn you big bucks. The Sun and Uranus will be divinely angled, so you will be happy with the news. Keep your cell phone powered up!

Then, as soon as you are back from your weekend trip, on Monday, July 26, you have another zinger of a day! Plan to present an idea to a client or your boss, for this will be one of your most favorable days of the month. You will find VIPs very receptive to your concepts for the Sun and Jupiter will be in perfect sync. With Jupiter in your second house of income, and the Sun in your work project house, you'll not only walk home with the order, but with a big fat check, too!

Summary

July brings the next eclipse, due July 11, and it will light your house of romance, bringing on a major development in matters of the heart and in your personal life. This eclipse will not engender as emotional a response that the one did last month on June 26. (Eclipses always come in pairs, two weeks apart as a full moon and new moon). Think back to last month when a friend's situation or behavior toward you may have upset or concerned you.

The year's newest eclipse, July 11, will bring a startling development in your love life, doubly so if you were born on or near March 9, plus or minus four days. No guarantees, but this eclipse is likely to thrill you. With a beautifully friendly beam to Mars in your house of commitment, you might get a serious proposal of marriage.

Alternatively, if you work regularly with partners and collaborators in business, this eclipse could see you forming a major alliance with a biz partner, agent, or other publicist, as some examples. If you have no one to date, this eclipse is capable of bringing you that fateful introduction, so look your best.

All Pisces are creative - it's one of your sign's joys - so you may be happy to hear that this eclipse could bring on a major new project. Take seriously any offers that surface, for this may be one that you will decide to give your "all" to in coming months.

The same part of your chart rules pregnancy and care of children. If you hope for a little new addition to your family, you may be shopping for bassinettes much sooner than you ever thought possible - joyfully so!

While in the past, one certain relationship seems to have caused you nothing but woe, but with Saturn now leaving Virgo, you have moved beyond those dark days. Your new partner has clearly earned your trust. With Venus' entry into your partnering / merging sector, you'll have smooth sailing together from July 10 to August 6, a great time to plan a vacation together or to make big plans for the future.

Money has also given you difficulties, but now, with Jupiter finally settled in your second house of income, combined with Uranus, you will easily - and perhaps suddenly - find new sources to increase your bank account. Your prospects have never been better for getting a major raise, or if self-employed, for generating new business.

On July 26 you should see an instant rise in cash flow, for at that time Jupiter will work with the Sun on your behalf. Make a presentation, schedule a performance review, or negotiate a deal. Be confident and keep your fees on the high side, because you really do have some of the best planetary support of any sign.

Actually, earlier in the month, when Mercury and Jupiter work together on July 11, you should get good financial news too, so that day may set the stage for the even better news coming on or near July 26.

Keep up your health and your strength, for at month's end you will be running your batteries down. Treat yourself to rest and privacy. If you want to take a vacation, do so over July 24-25, plus or minus five days, a great time to sneak away. Choose a place by the sea where you can loll on a beach while you do nothing more strenuous than read a best seller and sip iced tea. You've had quite a lot on your plate, and you need to rest up for an exciting autumn to come.

With Saturn due to leave Virgo on July 21, not to return for nearly three decades, your health should improve noticeably, for Saturn was in very challenging angle and could have taken a toll on your constitution. As you see, in every way, life is getting better!

Dates to Note: Pisces

The eclipse last month June 26 focused you on a friendship, so a friend's treatment of you may have been upsetting. No? Then alternatively you may have been concerned about his or her welfare.

The next eclipse, July 11, will bring a major development in your love life. You may get a proposal for marriage, or actually be wed. If you have no one, you may meet someone now who remains in your life a very long time.

In business, you may use the energy of an eclipse to form a serious partnership with another company.

A creative project or a pregnancy / adoption could change the course of your life, but in a way that makes you incredibly happy.

Saturn's impending exit of Virgo is the best news ever. It will happen July 21, and from then on, you won't see Saturn again until 2036.

Your outlook for an important increase in income is excellent.

July 26 should bring exciting news about money, thanks to Jupiter's communication with the Sun.

A runner up date for happy financial news that will be almost as good is July 11.

Sign papers at the end of the month, not near the eclipse, as it is never wise to make agreements near an eclipse. Spend time thinking things over.

If you would like to take a mini-vacation, do so over the weekend of July 24-25. A full moon has a plus or minus of four days from July 25, so you will feel the effects for several days. Go on a trip where you can rest - you have lots coming up in September.
