Aries Horoscope for November 2008

You have a very powerful chart now, and of all the months of 2008 so far, November could be one of your best. It offers a bevy of happy surprises, career progress, and happy money developments, as well as successful travel. You won't lose your footing or encounter the long delays like you might have experienced last month during the first half of October while Mercury was out of phase. This month the world feels like a warm and friendly place - and it's not an illusion. It will be that, and more!
As you enter November, you'll have money management on your mind. The recent news about the global stock markets may have made you a little sensitive about your investments. There is no need to overreact. Stay calm. You have excellent career aspects and should do well compared to others. As long as you don't react emotionally and keep your head, you should make all the right decisions.
The new moon that occurred last month on October 28 was one of the best of the year. It conjoined Mars, your ruler, propelling you to want to act on financial matters to build security, but that's why I say that you should not act too rashly.
That new moon fell in your house of other people's money and was also in perfect angle to Uranus and Pluto, so you likely will find surprisingly positive financial opportunities if you look for them. It's a great time to call your financial adviser, banker, or broker to make sure you've made the right choices in your portfolio and to rebalance things if you both agree that it's necessary. If it is not, then leave things alone. It looks like you may be entering into a high earning phase soon, and you will be able to contribute more to your funds later.
If you want to raise money for a business venture, send your business plan to the right people - in November you'll get the best response so far. If you need a car loan, new mortgage, refinancing plan, or a scholarship, apply in the first week of November.
You can use the energy of this new moon a small scale, too. Call your phone company or Internet provider to make sure you are on the right plan. (I had to pay $48.00 for a four-minute call to Hamburg, Germany, recently to speak with my new editor. Yikes! My phone provider explained afterward that I didn't have the right package plan for international calling - even though I call outside the US all the time. Somehow I had changed my plan without knowing it, a week earlier! This could happen to you too, so check into all your plans now.)
It would also be the perfect month to go shopping for holiday gifts, and I will urge you to do so quickly. I am particularly concerned about a very angry full moon in Gemini that will occur on December 12 (plus or minus 3-4 days) next month, a full moon that could take everyone off course. Because it is coming shortly before the holidays, you may find yourself in a time crunch.
For Aries, this full moon December 12 will affect and possibly create problems in transportation or communication - we will talk more about this next month. You will not likely be the subject of this full moon, but more of a bystander. Nevertheless, I am strongly urging everyone to get as much holiday shopping, shipping, and decorating done by December 10, and that's a firm date. Seeing this full moon coming, I am putting up my Christmas tree ten days earlier than usual, even though I worry that my apartment may be a little warm for my tree! (Well, I will keep the heat off for the tree and wear sweaters!)
Whatever comes up near December 12 could cause everything on your schedule to slide as you scramble to attend to whatever the full moon asks of you. Be smart - this year this full moon wild card could put a monkey wrench in everything.
Let's go back to this month. You have a number of wonderful days to look forward to!
First, Neptune will turn direct on November 2, having been retrograde since May 26. Neptune is currently in your house of friendship, so your interactions with friends should become much more frequent and much more fun. You'll be able to depend on them more than you have ever since Neptune went retrograde at the end of May. One friend in particular may touch you with a kind gesture in the days that follow November 2. Circle them and see what happens.
Uranus went retrograde too - June 26 - and will turn direct at month's end, on November 27. While Neptune is IN your eleventh house of friendship, Uranus RULES your solar eleventh house of friendship. Good news about a friend or involving a friend, group, or charity you work in will take your attention shortly thereafter and make you happy. You'll see that your life steps to a much faster beat from November 27 on, too!
Remarkably, in December next month, no planets will be retrograde, not one, not until December 31 when Saturn will turn retrograde. (A retrograde planet is a sleeping planet, emitting weaker beams - and not as helpful.) Mercury will begin to retrograde on January 11 and stay that way throughout the rest of January. While you have a superb, strong month like November, enjoy it for all it's worth!
Fantastic career news could arrive on November 10 - mark the date! The Sun and Jupiter will be beautifully angled, and the following day, November 11, Saturn will join in by sending a beam to the Sun as well. Your reputation will be secured - whatever you are doing at work will get raves, that's obvious! In addition, Venus will glide through your reputation sector from November 12 on, and you'll be the darling of VIPs. When you're hot, you're hot, dear Aries!
This is not just a random handful of dazzling career aspects - all that is happening in your career in November will be tied to successes that will happen in December in your career. You are being swept upward in a very exciting whirlwind career trend, and by the end of December you will see some amazing results. For now, get your resume ready. Be sure to remember to add all your accomplishments - you have many, so it may be easy to forget some!
The theme of finances will return on the full moon November 13, plus or minus four days, and bring your career and reputation into further focus. More salary or a check for fees earned will come to you as a result of all you've accomplished so far.
Having done so well in your career in early November, you can safely turn your attention to travel. Mars, your guardian planet, is moving into Sagittarius, giving you the desire to spread your wings and fly. Mercury will join Mars, as will the Sun and new moon, on November 27, so dear Aries, get out that suitcase.
With a crown of stars twinkling at the very top of your chart, you'll get a great reception wherever you go, for work or play. This month you seem to be able to combine business and pleasure easily. You'll have friends to go and see in the city or town you visit and that's always fun.
Keep in mind that anything having to do with import-export or international relations or deals would shine, too.
If you are a prospective college or grad school applicant, this new moon would be ideal for making appointments with various campus officials for your tour and interview, or to take an exam (with great results likely). You will have about ten days following that new moon November 27, so do the math - and remember, stay away from doing anything vital on or near that tough full moon December 12.
If your birthday falls on March 26, you will enjoy and benefit from the energies of the new moon of November 27 even more. I am spitting hairs here, though - every Aries of every birthday will have something to celebrate in the days that follow.
This month holds so many wonderful surprises, dear Aries. Before I go, I want to have you write down one special day for your career.
On December 1, Venus and Jupiter will conjoin and set off a brilliant beacon in the night in your solar tenth house of fame and honors. Venus only has dinner with Jupiter once a year, for they are wonderful old pals. Indeed, Jupiter adores being with lovely Venus. For their annual meeting, these two always choose a different part of your chart to meet and they're meeting in your house of fame - giving you a chance at promotion and status. Mama Mia!
This is huge - and still another sign this month your name is about to be on the big marquee. December 1 is so important that I want you to know about it now, dear Aries. Make a call to a VIP or schedule an interview, presentation, or audition. This is a rare opportunity to climb the ladder of success, dear Aries, so don't let this day pass by without using it!
Romantically, November 10 and 11 may bring lovely results, perhaps for a first meeting or introduction. Venus will be slightly more supportive for matters of the heart while in a fellow fire sign, Sagittarius, from November 1-12.
Also related to romance, whatever happened back in August now may require a decision - to go, to stay, to fix, or to delve deeper. The answer lies in your heart.

Summary
You seem ready to create a list for holiday gift giving and to estimate what you'll spend for those gifts this year. That's a good idea - last minute shoppers often spend more, especially on express shipping. Take your time, browse, and get the perfect items without breaking your piggy bank. You'll enjoy the process more, too.
While you are getting the hang of year-end money management, you may want to review other financial agreements to make sure you are getting the best rates. Call your credit card, cell, Internet, and other providers. If you are not satisfied with the answers you get, speak up while brilliant vibes shine on you. You may also want to open a savings account, talk with a financial planner, or invest in property. When it comes to money management, you'll be strong, decisive, and persuasive. This month you can set yourself on a very secure track.
In your career, the week of November 10-14 should bring sensational news about an impending raise or the option to try for a new job that would pay you generously. A golden triangle of planets linking good fortune Jupiter (in your house of fame) to responsibility-minded Saturn (in your assignment sector) and the full moon (in your salary house) spells success! Soon your spirits may be soaring. It's apparent you've been working hard and smart. This week brings well-deserved reward - ask!
Saturn and Uranus currently are moving at opposite ends of the solar system in a challenging pattern. This may set up a deep meditation within you as to whether you should change the type of work you do in future months or build on what you've already accomplished. If you feel there are parts of your job that you could do differently or better, this month you'll begin to give shape to those thoughts. In the meantime, at month's end, on November 30-December 1, you'll find VIPs to be staunchly on your side. If you need a special favor from your boss, those are your days to schedule your meeting.
December 1 is also a day to have interviews, meetings, presentations, and anything else you can think of doing! It's a four-star, solid gold day for career, so use it or lose, it dear Aries!
At month's end, enjoy a distant trip to a city far from home. You need the change of pace, and the new moon, November 27, will let you expand your lungs and breathe in fresh air in a lovely new environment. With Uranus turning direct orbit then too, you will either go with a friend or visit a city where a dear friend lives. What a wonderful way to end the month - pure perfection!

Every carrier works a little differently, so here are the instructions for you:
Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile customers: When you text AZP to 75777, you will receive a text message back with step-by-step instructions on how to download the application.
Example, Verizon customers are told to go to "Get it now," then "Tools on the Go," then "Mind, Body & Soul," and then select Astrology Zone Premier™. So, Verizon customers will have to actually exit the Text Message and go back into the menu on their phone. This is something that you, as a Verizon customer, have to do to get any application, so it's not a new process, and it's worth the effort!
AT&T and Sprint customers: When you text AZP to 75777, you will receive a text message back that includes a link to the application. It is a more direct process than the one outlined above.
Not all phones are equipped to take the new technology, so check first with your provider and explain which phone you own. If you purchased a cell phone in the past year, chances are, your phone is ready.
